Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold mostly steady with a few spots from 5.00 higher to 5.00 lower. Demand was good for a moderate supply. The recent news of possible tariffs and lower cattle futures didn't affect the cash feeder market much. As we work further into February, the long weaned old crop calves are likely to be fewer each week as the historically high market has brought large numbers to town since fall.
