Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold 5.00-15.00 higher. Demand was good for a heavy supply of reputation cattle with several straight loads of yearlings and groups of fancy calves. Cattle futures have continued to move higher and fed cattle made substantial gains, particularly in the North last week, giving buyers confidence to get back to the price levels reached two weeks ago.
