Compared to the sale two weeks ago, feeder steers and heifers 10.00-15.00 lower. Slaughter cows 3.00-6.00 lower. Demand moderate. Supply moderate. The market is on the defensive at the moment with futures contracts and the feeder index trending lower although the fed cattle market remains strong. The calendar has turned to June with discounts showing up on some of the fescue haired cattle.
