Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last Tuesday, feeder steers under 600 lbs 5.00-15.00 higher, few over 600 lbs steady to 5.00 higher. Feeder heifers under 550 lbs fully 15.00-25.00 higher, few over 550 lbs steady to 5.00 higher. Slaughter cows 2.00-3.00 higher. Demand very good. Supply light. It's the same setup as last week as feeders continue to set new record highs following another round of higher fed cattle with prices from 210.00-215.00/cwt. Several consignments of good quality, unweaned, medium flesh new crop calves found excellent demand and are included in the bulk price ranges on weights under 500 lbs.
