Compared to last Tuesday, feeder steers 1.00-5.00 lower. Feeder heifers steady to 3.00 higher. Slaughter cows 1.00-2.00 lower. Demand uneven. Supply moderate. Feeder futures lost around 170 points on Tuesday. Friday's Cattle on Feed report is expected to be bearish showing around 3.4 percent more cattle in feedlots than a year ago while also indicating the slowly shrinking backlog of fed cattle to still be in the neighborhood of 400,00 head.
