Compared to last Tuesday, feeder steers and heifers steady to 4.00 higher on a limited market test. Slaughter cows steady. Demand good. Supply light. Smaller summer offering with no big incentive to move cattle at the moment with feeders working higher and much of the area seeing some rain in the past couple of days. Feedlot weight cattle are still inching higher which hopefully will work but may not with the combination of fed inventory, weekly kills, cutout values and carcass weights indicating we could remain under the packers thumb for a while.
