Compaired to last Tuesday, feeder steers under 600 lbs steady, over 600 lbs firm to 4.00 higher. Heifers under 500 lbs not well tested, over 500 lbs 2.00-4.00 higher. Slaughter cows steady to 1.00 lower. Demand good. Supply moderate. Several plainer cattle this week but noticably stronger trade on several of the offerings that would fit a mainstream order. The feeder and fed markets continue to be on different tracks with the feeder index up over 5.00/cwt since last week while the choice cutout is just above 200.00/cwt and still trending lower despite fed marketings being well behind for the year.
