As filed

Compared to the last reported market four weeks ago, steers and heifers traded with a lower undertone, sharply lower in spots, with the exception of some load lots of backgrounded heifers selling firm to 5.00 higher. Slaughter cows 5.00 to 10.00 lower. Several loads of yearlings were on offer but beyond that the supply was pretty light, with a very small number of calves to kick off the fall run. Demand moderate to good.
