Compared to last week, a smaller offering of feeder cattle traded in a very uneven manner. Slaughter cows 2.00 to 5.00 lower. Quality was more attractive than last week, but without enough cattle to fill orders in several instances, some weights and classes traded dollars lower. However, where the best comparisons could be made, particularly 7 weight steers and 6 wt heifers, cattle traded 5.00 to 10.00 higher. The weather was sure a turn off this week as well after a dramatic temperature drop and severe wind moved in Tuesday night. Supply light, demand moderate to good.
