As filed

Compared to the last sale three weeks ago, steers under 600 lbs sold sharply higher, with the top quality grazers seeing 10.00 to 20.00 gains, heavier weights steady to 8.00 higher with the sharpest advance on light 7 wt steers. Heifers steady to 5.00 lower. Slaughter cows 10.00 to 15.00 higher. The bulk of the offering consisted of medium to large drafts of long time weaned, home raised cattle. Light weight grazers spiked the market, again, as numbers continue to grow tight. Locally, producers are fighting a little mud, but without much complaint after the sub zero temperatures a week ago. Supply moderate, demand good.
