Reporter comment USDA

As filed

With three weeks since the last feeder special, nearly all weights of feeder steers and heifers sold sharply higher as the cattle market continues to leap frog higher every week. Only the heavy weight yearling heifers traded on a more steady to firm basis as that weight sold with some outstanding prices three weeks ago. A record corn crop is predicted for this fall and that should lead to some cheap feed prices, helping support feeder demand even more. Demand was very good and supply moderate.
