Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to the auction from two weeks ago, feeder steers and heifers traded steady to firm on a light test. Plenty of buyers in the stands even for only a light supply of cattle offered. Pastures and crops in North Missouri are still in pretty good shape as this area has been blessed with more moisture and milder temperatures than much of the rest of the state. Demand was good.
