Compared to the auction from last week, feeder steers traded steady. Feeder heifers under 600 lbs steady to 3.00 lower, over 600 lbs steady. The feeder market continues to hold up well in spite of high feed cost and slow pasture growth. Rain, cool temperatures, and more rain has field work pretty much at a standstill. Once again another difficult spring for the farmers in Northeast Missouri.
