Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to the previous auction from two weeks ago, feeder steers and heifers firm to 5.00 higher with the most advance on the 550-700 lb heifers. Not a big run of feeders, but several nice strings of yearlings offered with buyers becoming more aggressive about owning cattle. Good rainfall early Monday morning of generally one to two inches, and moderate temperatures, will help keep pastures and crops in good condition. Demand good and supply light.
