Compared to the last special three weeks ago, ( last week was a Special Bred Cow Sale) steer calves weighing 450-650 lbs sold mostly steady, with 650-750 lbs trading with a lower undertone on a limited offering from the last special. several pot loads of big yearlings weighing over 1000 lbs were not tested but sold on and active market. Feeder heifers weighing 450-600 lbs sold unevenly steady with weights over 600 lbs selling with a lower undertone with few good comparisons. Slaughter cows sold steady to 3.00 lower with the most decline on the boning and lean cows. CME cattle futures were under pressure this week, along with boxed-beef cut-out values had fed cattle market struggling for steady money this week.
