Compared to last week, a limited test this week on steers and heifers, but a few comparable sales of steers weighing 600-750 lbs selling mostly 15.00-20.00 lower and heifers weighing 500-700 lbs trading 10.00-15.00 lower. Demand was moderate with supply light to moderate. Slaughter cows sold 10.00-15.00 lower. Sharp losses have continued on the CME cattle futures as a bearish grip has a strong hold on the cattle markets. There is a lot of drama going on in the markets with fears of the unknown as pandemic concerns fill the headlines, also with state shut downs and reportedly some packing plants having labor issues are all taking a toll on the markets.
