Callaway Livestock held their monthly Special Bred Cow/Heifer and Pairs sale Thursday evening with a large crowd on hand. One of the main highlights was consignment of good quality black 1st calf heifer pairs selling with good demand from 4450.00-4575.00 per pair. There was a nice quality offering of young bred cows mostly 3-5 yrs mostly in the 2nd stage several in the 3rd stage selling with good demand. Several groups of short solid mouth bred cows along with aged cows mostly in the 2nd stage in the offering with several consignments of pairs ranging mostly from 4 -6 yrs of age with 150-350 lb calves by side.
