Callaway Livestock Center held their monthly Bred Cow and Pairs sale Thursday evening, with several consignments of top quality bred heifers and young cows mostly 4-6 years of age in the 2nd and 3rd stage. Several consignments of pairs with several young pairs mostly 4-5 yrs bred back in 1st stage with 350-400 lb calves and 2-4 year old heifers with 200-300 lb calves by side all sold with good demand. Overall demand was good to very good on all replacement cows as good rain fall amounts over the last several days throughout the trade area has attitudes a lot brighter. Many out of state buyers were active with internet bidding with many bred cows and pairs going out of state.
