Compared to last week, feeder market was very lightly tested with last week's light offering of calves, but steer and heifer calves sold with a sharply higher undertone with yearlings trading with a higher undertone on a light offering, the exception was a pot load of 1014 lb steers trading steady with last week's pot load of similar weight. Demand was very good on the calves and yearlings with a moderate supply with the bulk of the calves selling in small packages and groups. Buyers remain very aggressive to buy feeders for grazing as they try to fill their needs while feeders are available. Couple stick out sales on the pot loads included 83 hd of steers weighing 677 lbs at 434.00 and 53 hd of steers weighing 1014 lbs at 319.75. Slaughter cows sold firm to 6.00 higher.
