Compared to last week, steer calves weighing 400-600 lbs sold steady to firm, spots 3.00 higher, 600-700 lbs sold 3.00-10.00 higher with the most advance on the 650-700 lb steers, over 750 lbs traded with a higher undertone on few comparable sales from last week. Feeder heifers weighing 400-500 lbs sold steady to firm, with 500-650 lbs selling 4.00-8.00 higher over 650 lbs were not well tested. Demand was good on a moderate offering with many top quality calves that were long time weaned with shots in the offering all selling on and active market. Couple pot loads of big yearling steers weighing 855-905 lbs with several large groups of big yearlings weighing over 700 lbs with more smaller groups and packages of calves weighing 400-600 lbs than last week but overall quality was very good. Slaughter cows sold fully steady to firm, with a nice offering of slaughter steers and heifers trading with a firm to higher undertone.
