Compared to last week, steer calves weighing 450-600 lbs and heifer calves weighing 400-550 lbs sold mostly 5.00-7.00 lower as most of the calves traded in the lower ranges of last weeks sale, 550-600 lb heifer calves on a light test sold steady to 3.00 lower, 600-650 lb steers sold mostly 3.00 lower and yearling steers and heifers weighing over 650 lbs sold steady to firm. Slaughter cows mostly boning and lean cows sold firm to spots 2.00 higher. Demand was moderate to good with supply moderate. A nice offering of top quality yearling feeders sold in pot load lots and part loads and sold with the good demand.
