Compared to last week, steer calves weighing 400-450 lbs and 500-550 lbs sold steady to 3.00 lower, 450-500 lbs and a light test of 550-600 lbs steers sold mostly 3.00-5.00 lower. a light offering of 6 weight steers and yearling steers over 750 lbs were not well tested. Feeder heifers weighing 400-500 lbs sold steady to 3.00 lower, 500-550 lbs sold mostly steady with 550-600 lbs trading 3.00-5.00 lower and 650-700 lb heifers selling 2.00-4.00 lower. Slaughter cows sold steady to 2.00 lower. Demand was moderate to good with supply moderate. There was a nice offering of steer and heifer calves weighing 350-600 lbs on offer for Monday's auction. Overall the market was not quite as active as last week as there still remains much uncertainty in the markets.
