Compared to last Monday feeder steers and heifers under 700 lbs sold steady with some weaned packages 2.00 to 5.00 higher with very good demand due to some farmer participation in the market. Yearlings sold weak in a light test. Slaughter cows and slaughter bulls sold steady with good demand. Excitement over warmer temperatures and prospects of spring grass seemed to overshadow concerns over falling stock market prices today related to the Coronavirus.
