Compared to last week slaughter steers were 5.00 higher and slaughter heifers 6.00 higher with much higher packer bids and a good offering of high quality steers and heifers and active bidding. Holstein slaughter steers were 3.00 higher today and Dairy/Beef steers were trending higher. Cows were 4.00 to 5.00 higher with a good offering and good interest and Holstein cows were 2.00 to 6.00 higher also with bulls 10.00 higher on high dressing bulls that were offered this week. Feeder steers and heifers trending higher and feeder bulls had a light test and steady with a light offering on all classes of feeders this week.
