Compared to the feeder calf & yearling auction 2 weeks ago ( Feb 5 ) feeder steer calves were steady to 10.00 lower across all weight classes. Yearling steer cattle were steady to 7.00 higher. Feeder heifer trade today saw 600 -700 lb calves 6.00 to 8.00 lower. Also as advertised, available today was a large offering of Nichol's Farms open replacement heifers with very good demand. Quality ran deep in today's supply of home - raised, LTW'd and double vaccinated feeder calves. Demand was very good for today's moderate offering.
