Compared to the feeder calf auction just 2 week's ago, 450 - 550 lb steer calves were as much as 15.00 to 20.00 higher, 600 - 700 lb steers were 10.00 to 18.00 higher, no comparison stated on yearling cattle given the light receipts in the previous auction. Light weight heifers going back to grass saw the market 16.00 to 28.00 higher with 600 - 700 lb calves 7.00 to 20.00 higher. Many home -raised, LTW'd , 2 rounds of shots were available today in load lots. Very active internet bidding throughout the auction. Demand was very good. Today's trade was active.
