Compared to last week: Both feeder steers and feeder heifers sold mostly 10.00 to 20.00 lower. A large run of un-weaned and fleshy new crop cattle along with heavy losses on the CME at the first of the week helped push prices down. However, quality weaned and value cattle held their own against last weeks market. Slaughter cows were 5.00 to 12.00 lower and slaughter bulls were trending lower against last weeks light test. Supply was good, demand was good with stronger demand on weaned and value added cattle.
