Compared to last week, receipts on feeder cattle were lower. However, with some upward movement on the feeder board yesterday, buyer demand was notably stronger this week. Light-weight feeder steers sold $8.00 to $12.00 higher. Steers over 500 lbs were offered on a light test, trading steady to $8.00 higher. Feeder heifers saw a stronger market across all weight classes, selling $10.00 to $15.00 higher. Slaughter cattle sold steady to $5.00 higher.
