Compared to the last sale: Feeder steer lightly tested for current FOB trades but few sales 15.00-25.00 higher for the South Central region. Feeder heifers not well tested for current delivery. Drought continues to be a concern across cattle country, although scattered showers over the past week have provided some much needed relief in parts of the region. Temperatures are forecasted to moderate by next week, for the Southern Plains. Farmers who received meaningful moisture are already beginning to plant wheat. CME futures September feeder cattle closed above 343 on Monday before pulling back throughout the week, closing today at 334. Supply included 63 percent from the South Central region, 11 percent from the North Central region, 13 percent from the South East region, 3 percent from the West and 10 percent from the North East region. Deliveries are current through February 2027. Current delivery is 14 days from the last day of the video and is up to and including October 1, 2026. Many Dairy and Beef on Dairy cattle sold with an .90-1.40 right slide.
