Compared to the last sale: Feeder steers sold 3.00-8.00 higher, 9 weights up to 20.00 higher. Feeder heifers mostly steady. Limited Current FOB calf trades and these sold sharply higher. Moderate seller interest on day 1 of the video when bulk of the feeder cattle sold. This despite very active trade and extremely good demand. Demand very good for calves. Cattle futures made sharp advances this week as the ever constant light supply of cattle continues. Interest in calves was renewed as good rains have fallen across much of the drought stricken areas of the country. Supply included 55 percent South Central; 30 percent North Central; 9 percent Southeast; 5 percent from the West and 1 percent North East. Deliveries are current through December 2026. Current delivery is 14 days from the last day of the video(June 17th) and is up to and including July 1, 2026.
