Compared to the last sale 04/04/25: Feeder steers steady to 3.00 lower. Feeder heifers 5.00-7.00 lower. Steer and heifer calves lightly tested but sold with continued good demand. Many cattle coming off of wheat for May delivery. Cattle futures back to trading in the green this week and this improved seller interest. Good rains are forecasted for much of the Midwest this weekend but temperatures expected to cool off as well. Supply included 46 percent from South Central; 1 percent North East ; 5 percent North Central; 44 percent South East; and 4 percent from the West. Deliveries are current thru January 2026. Current delivery is 14 days from the last day of the sale and is up to and including May 1, 2025.
