Today, Northern Livestock video auction held the Annual Diamond Ring Sale. Demand was good to very good for moderate to heavy offerings. Spring born calves and yearlings both sold on good demand. Several offerings of light weight calves were seen suitable to develop into yearlings. These late delivered offerings sold with good to very good demand overall. Very good demand was seen for Value Added cattle that were 3rd party verified. Cattle tagged as Value added were enrolled in two or more programs and had to be verified by a 3rd party. The largest premiums given were for cattle sold as All Natural, NHTC and GAP combined. Market activity was active to very active.
