Trading was very active and demand was good to very good. Demand for fall delivered calves was mostly good as buyers bid aggressively over todays light offering. The best demand was seen for calves which delivered early and were over 650 lbs, and very good demand was seen for calves that were weaned and delivered early. Many sets of cattle, both yearlings and calves, sold to Canadian feeders today. Many ranches advertised that they were "able to tag to deliver to Canada at buyers expense". Yearlings sold on very good demand for light offerings. All cattle tagged as Value Added were 3rd party verified and were enrolled in more than one program. Value Added cattle sold with strong premiums today.
