The Northern Livestock Video Auction held their Fall Premier sale today. Demand for calves was mostly moderate while demand for yearlings was moderate to good. Value added cattle have a combination of 2 or more of the following: source and aged verified, all-natural, non-hormone treated (NHTC), a known vaccination program, being weaned more than 30 days, or superior genetics. Most cattle had to have a third party verification to seen any premium. Demand for bred cattle was mostly light. Demand for feeder lambs was good to very good.
