For the week steers and heifers sold unevenly steady to 5.00 higher. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady. Demand was moderate to good. Continued hot, windy and dry weather pattern across the state. Some calves that were slated to go to summer grass are making their way to the auction this week. Early talks, some irrigation districts have declared water days will be very limited this summer due to the lack of snow pack (runoff) unless some rains start to come. Bulk of the crops raised in the state depend on the snowpack, runoff into water reservoirs for irrigation needs.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
Source: USDA AMS, as filed — nothing recomputed and nothing rounded. This summary aggregates the same sales the Wyoming barn reports cover, so it must never be added to a state total built from those barns.
