Compared to last week steers less than 500 lbs sold 30.00 to 40.00 higher. 5 weight steers sold 15.00 lower with 6 weights trading 2.00 to 7.00 higher. Steers over 700 lbs sold unevenly steady. Heifers has about a similar trend with light weight heifers trading 2.00 higher and yearling weight heifers trading unevenly steady. Slaughter cows sold steady to 1.00 higher and bulls sold 5.00 lower on the week. Demand was good to instances very good for bred cattle and replacement heifers. Even though most of Wyoming is very dry, cattlemen are planning ahead for the next year hoping they can increase their cow herds slightly or at least young them up with some bred heifer in 2027.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
Source: USDA AMS, as filed — nothing recomputed and nothing rounded. This summary aggregates the same sales the Wyoming barn reports cover, so it must never be added to a state total built from those barns.
