Compared to last week's light offering of calves and feeder cattle, comparable sales sold steady. Slaughter cows steady with instances 2.00 higher on lean cows. Bulls sold steady to weak. Demand was good for a pretty good run of calves and yearlings. Many packages on the week with some load lots of yearling cattle. Rain showers in some areas of the state has been welcomed by many except the producers that have 3rd cutting of alfalfa on the ground waiting to bale.
