Compared to last week calves and feeder cattle sold steady on a thin supply. Slaughter and feeder cows sold 2.00 to 4.00 higher. Slaughter bulls sold 4.00 higher. Calves and feeders sold in small packages with not a full load of any weight making demand moderate on most groups. Demand was good for slaughter cattle and pairs. Some areas of eastern Wy getting a tick dry but still good grass conditions on the range. Many pairs and yearlings are getting turned out on summer grass and should gain well this summer. Some reporting auctions are starting their summer sale schedule.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
Source: USDA AMS, as filed — nothing recomputed and nothing rounded. This summary aggregates the same sales the Wyoming barn reports cover, so it must never be added to a state total built from those barns.
