Compared to last week steers sold mostly 16.00 to 20.00 higher with the exception of 600-650 lb steers, selling 11.00 lower and 400-450 and 500-550 lb steers, selling 1.00 to 3.00 lower. Heifers under 550 lbs sold sharply higher, 550 - 650 lb heifers sold steady to 2.00 higher, and heifers over 650 lbs sold mostly 4.00 to 9.00 lower. Comparable slaughter cow trades sold steady to weak and slaughter bulls sold 9.00 lower. Demand ranged from moderate to good throughout the markets.
