Compared to last week steer calves under 500 lbs sold 10.00 higher, over 500 lbs sold 5.00 to 10.00 lower except 900 lbs steers sold 2.00 higher. Flyweight heifers sold sharply higher on the week, 400 to 700 lbs heifers sold steady to 4.00 higher, 700 to 900 lbs sold 6.00 to 8.00 higher and over 900 lbs sold 2.00 lower. Slaughter cows sold 2.00 to 3.00 lower and slaughter bulls sold 4.00 to 5.00 lower. Quite a few cows went back to the county to be fed. Demand was moderate to good for all classes.
