Not enough feeder cattle for a market comparison. Slaughter cows and bulls sold unevenly steady. Demand was good for the short supply of cattle on offer. Many ranchers are looking for pairs to turn out on lush summer range. Quite a few young aged weigh-up cows going back to the country to be bred. Rainy weather pattern continues across most of the state. The ones having a hard time with the weather are the hay producers. They are struggling to get good or better hay baled this year on alfalfa and grass hay. But, they are saving money on irrigation cost and area dams are filling up.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
Source: USDA AMS, as filed — nothing recomputed and nothing rounded. This summary aggregates the same sales the Wyoming barn reports cover, so it must never be added to a state total built from those barns.
