Most weights of heifers sold 3.00 to 5.00 higher. Slaughter cows sold steady to 5.00 lower and bulls steady. Bred cows and pairs sold unevenly steady. Demand was moderate to good for calves and feeder cattle. Moderate demand for bred cows, pairs, and slaughter cattle. Instances good demand for reputation, dispersal cows. Most lots of bred cows headed to out of state buyers. Snowpack for the state was at 75% with last year at 98% and at 109% in 2020. Most contacts think there will be enough snowpack run off for irrigation needs in the 2022 growing season.
