Compared to last week, feeder steers under 450 lbs sold steady to 3.00 lower, 450 - 700 lbs sold mostly 3.00 to 8.00 higher, and over 700 lbs sold 1.00 to 4.00 lower, with instances of sharply higher trades from 700 - 800 lbs. Feeder heifers under 350 lbs sold 8.00 - 11.00 lower, 350 - 750 lbs sold 2.00 to 8.00 higher, and over 750 lbs sold 1.00 to 4.00 higher. Average dressing slaughter cows sold steady to 6.00 higher and average dressing slaughter bulls remained steady. Demand was moderate to good, though good demand should be noted for calves with spring and fall shots, as well as natural program heifers.
