Slaughter cows trade 1.00-2.00 higher with bulls up to 4.00 higher. August feedlot placements were 2 percent higher compared to last year according to the NASS cattle on feed report. Total cattle on feed as of September 1st was 1 percent lower than a year ago, yet still the second highest on record since the series began in 1996.
