Compared to two weeks ago, steers and heifers under 700 lbs sold 8.00 to 10.00 higher and over 700 lbs sold steady. Slaughter cows sold 2.00 to 7.00 higher and slaughter bulls sold steady to 3.00 higher. Demand was good for all classes of livestock after much needed moisture occurred from last week's snow storm. Majority of the state remains in drought conditions. But, the snow two weeks ago added snowpack in several locations that run off will help maintain water levels for irrigation needs. Hopefully, more spring showers are on the horizon.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
Source: USDA AMS, as filed — nothing recomputed and nothing rounded. This summary aggregates the same sales the Wyoming barn reports cover, so it must never be added to a state total built from those barns.
