Compared to last week slaughter and feeding cows sold 2.00 to 4.00 lower and slaughter bulls sold 2.00 lower. Bred heifers and cows sold mostly steady on a thin test. This week was no different than the last several as a large supply of cows returned to the county instead of going strait to slaughter. All reporting auctions in Wyoming are shut down through the Christmas and New Year's holidays. Sales will start back up the week of January 4. Wishing everyone a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
