Compared to last week feeder steers under 500 lbs 2.00-4.00 lower, 500-700 lbs 3.00-7.00 lower, over 700 lbs 6.00-11.00 lower; all weight of heifers sold steady to 6.00 lower; slaughter and feeder cows 8.00-10.00 lower, slaughter bulls 5.00-9.00 lower; good offering of bred cows sold steady. All bred cows pretested for age, pregnancy and bangs vaccination. Spring weather has prevailed across the state this past week, however, ranchers and farmers are preparing for the Arctic blast forecast to hit in full force on Easter Sunday.
