Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers sold mostly 5.00 to 10.00 higher. Demand was very good with cattle in short supply and contracts to fill and auctions in their lighter summer run phase. Pastures are still green and soil moisture levels are adequate to surplus according to the Texas Crop and Weather report.
