Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were unevenly steady with instances of 3.00-4.00 higher to 3.00-4.00 lower. Demand was mostly moderate for feeder cattle, with the best demand shown for long-weaned (45+ days), preconditioned cattle. As we enter the time of year with warm days and cool nights, health concerns are imminent - more notably in calves that are newly weaned.

Slaughter cows were mostly 2.00-4.00 lower, and slaughter bulls mostly steady.
