Compared to last week, feeder cattle were unevenly steady throughout the week, with notable interest and advance on cattle weighing under 550 lbs. The unsteady stock market and concern over national and global issues played a significant role in this week’s market activity, and long-weaned and preconditioned feeder cattle remain in the best demand by order buyers. Slaughter cows and bulls were mostly steady to 3.00 higher with good demand.
